Do's

  • Only sync data you need for personalization and segmentation

  • Carefully plan your connections if you consider going “Multi Org”

  • Stop and archive old journeys which use the Salesforce Entry Event

Don't

  • Use anything except ContactId/LeadId/UserId as SubscriberKey

  • Use Journey Builder for bulk sends, Salesforce data updates

  • Use Salesforce AMPscript functions inside an email

  • Once activated, it cannot be turned off. There is no rollback!

    • One dedicated API user per Salesforce Org
